Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Classes for Seniors can be taken at The Pirate Wellness Center

Why a Pirate Wellness Center? First of all, Pirates abound in the Keys. They come from all over the world to enjoy the treasures that are unique to these islands and waters. Diving, fishing and other activities of the Keys requiring stamina, strength, and coordination.  Alas, Pirates of all ages need to think about their overall health. Pirate Wellness Center is an attempt to address these needs.

We use the term “wellness” rather than “fitness" because we believe Pirates need a more holistic approach than simply going to a gym. Sure, Pirates need a well healthy figure, but they also need a strong heart, low blood pressure, low cholesterol, and stamina for those long voyages at sea or to their favorite watering hole.  With that in mind, Pirate Wellness Center offers a wide range of programs and professional services, including........

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday 5am-9pm

Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm

Holiday Hours

Pirate Wellness Center will be closed on Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and on Christmas.

The Center will be open on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Years Day, but will be for restricted hours of operation and classes will not be available on those days.  Any changes to normal hours will be posted here and at the Center in ample time.

Pirate Wellness Center is looking to rent out our multipurpose studio by the hour for all of your special event or meeting needs.  Approximately 900 sf with audio and visual equipment and catering facilities available.  Rates are $100.00 per hour, however, rates are negotiable for non-profit organizations.  (Based on availability).
